The Credo of Mission Energy For One World

We are Stewards, not Owners; Brothers and Sisters, not Rivals.

Rooted in the wisdom and teachings of Gandhi, Pope Francis, and our own life’s work, this credo is not just a philosophy—it is a path. A guide. A seed for a more just, healthy, peaceful and regenerative world.

The Energy of Service

We pursue energy not for dominion, but for dignity.

We tread lightly, build humbly, and recognize that greatness lies in simplicity.

The smallest microgrid can light a life. The quietest leader can shift an empire.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” —M. Gandhi

The Energy of Relationship

All energy is shared. So must be its promise.

We listen as much as we innovate. We build not just infrastructure—but fraternity.

Every pipeline must carry peace. Every watt must lift the forgotten.

“Everything is connected.” —Laudato Si’, Pope Francis

The Energy of Harmony with the Way

“Humanity follows the Earth, the Earth follows Heaven, Heaven follows the Dao, and the Dao follows what is natural.” – Laozi, Tao Te Ching

We recognize that true prosperity flows from balance and a deep respect for the natural order. Just as the Tao guides the effortless flow of the universe, so too must our pursuit of energy align with the rhythms of our planet. We understand that “when people cultivate their authentic nature, they are said to affect the rejuvenating forces in the natural world”. Therefore, we commit to nurturing a relationship with nature that fosters life, rather than depleting it. Our innovations will seek to understand and work with the inherent energies of the Earth, ensuring that every endeavor cultivates not only progress, but also enduring ecological and social well-being. We believe that to truly thrive, “if the pursuit of development runs counter to the harmony and balance of nature, even if it is of great immediate interest and profit, people should restrain themselves from it”.

The Energy of Encounter

We cross boundaries—of nation, creed, and class—to stand together.

The poor are not projects. The planet is not a resource.

We meet in dialogue, not debate. In communion, not conquest.

“I am because we are.” —Ubuntu (a value Gandhi deeply admired)

The Energy of Hope in Practice

Hope is not naive. Hope is a Strategy.

We weave solar grids and social trust. Carbon cuts and community gardens.

Every act of repair, of sharing, of reimagining—that is how light wins.

Manifest

We believe energy is a human right

It powers homes, dreams, and nations—but it must never be hoarded or weaponized. We commit to an energy system rooted in dignity, not domination.

We will leave no one in the dark

Energy poverty is not just a technical gap—it is a moral failure. We pledge to bring clean, affordable, and just energy access to all communities, urban or rural, rich or forgotten.

We are stewards—not masters—of the Earth

We draw from Pope Francis Laudato Si and Gandhi call for simplicity and harmony with nature. Technology will serve life, not sever it.

We forge Peace through the Human Heart

Inspired by Pope Francis’s *Fratelli Tutti*, we see energy as a bridge, not a border. Every pipeline, panel, and grid must carry with it a spirit of encounter, healing, and global kinship.

We will build the new with the old.

We invite oil and energy giants not as enemies, but as co-architects of a new economy. Legacy does not mean loyalty to the past—it means responsibility for the future.

We honor the wisdom of the margins

The poor, the young, the Indigenous, the women, the workers—they carry blueprints no algorithm can see. We lift their voices as essential infrastructure.

We act now, with hope in our hands

We do not wait for perfect plans. We begin with pilots, conversations, exchanges. Every watt of justice counts.

We choose shared destiny over shared doom

This is not just transition. It is transformation. Not just survival—but renewal.
